Hire information

Baldock Community Centre offers the following rooms, halls and facilities for hire.

All facilities are normally available for hire during standard opening hours. We always endeavour to provide hire outside these times but as a small charity, this is obviously subject to our ability to staff such events.

In addition to ladies/gents WCs, the centre also has an accessible toilet for the disabled and baby change facilities.

Large Hall capacity 125 seated or 220 standing (Ground floor; wheelchair access available)

Weekdays up to 5pm Friday	£19.00 per hour
Friday 5pm to Sunday 5pm	£23.00 per hour
Sunday 5pm to 12 midnight	£28.00 per hour

Small Hall capacity 40 seated or 80 standing (Ground floor; wheelchair access available)

Weekdays 9am to 5pm	£9.50 per hour
Evenings 5pm to 12 midnight	£13.00 per hour
Friday 5pm to Sunday 5pm	£16.00 per hour
Sunday 5pm to 12 midnight	£21.00 per hour

Meeting Room capacity 20 seated (First floor; access via stairs only)

Weekdays 9am to 5pm	£9.50 per hour
Evenings 5pm to 12 midnight	£13.00 per hour
Friday 5pm to Sunday 5pm	£16.00 per hour
Sunday 5pm to 12 midnight	£21.00 per hour

Lounge area (Ground floor; wheelchair access available)

Weekdays 9am to 12 midnight	£7.50 per hour

Kitchen (Ground floor, with servery hatch to the Large Hall)

Charge if appliances are used	£15.00 per hour
Use of crockery	£25.00 plus breakages

Licensed bar (Ground floor, with servery hatch to the Large Hall)

A staffed, licensed bar can be made available for events: see special offer below.

Friday and Saturday SPECIAL OFFER

Friday and Saturday Special! If the bar is hired as well as the Large Hall, the use of the Bar and Bar Staff is included in the discounted price.

7pm to 12 midnight	£125.00
12 noon to 12 midnight	£200.00
9am to 12 midnight	£250.00
Additional hours	£23.00 per hour

Friday and Saturday special offer additional terms of hire:

ALL HIRERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A £50 SURETY CHEQUE
Surety cheque and full letting charges must be paid at least 4 weeks before the planned date of the event.

CANCELLATION FEES APPLY: If cancellation more than 6 weeks before the event date then no charge; 5 to 6 weeks 10% charge; 4 to 5 weeks 20% charge; 3 to 4 weeks 30% charge; 2 to 3 weeks 50% charge; 1 to 2 weeks 75% charge; less than 1 week 100% charge.
